I am interested in understanding mechanical and hydrological processes in the climate system, specifically processes that relate to sea ice and ice-sheet flow under past, present, and future scenarios. Additionally I am involved in investigations of fundamental granular mechanics, which outside of cryospheric environments are important in many geodynamical and geomorphological processes and settings, such as earthquakes, landslides, sediment transport in flowing water, and dam stability.
I have listed my peer-reviewed publications and submitted manuscripts below. If you would like to collaborate on a scientific problem please get in touch.
